The work of Athos Bulcão in Igrejinha Nossa Senhora de Fátima, in Brasília, is one of the most iconic examples of the mix between art and architecture. Casa da Frontaria Azulejada, Santos

A Casa da Frontaria Azulejada, em Santos, construída em 1865, se destaca pelo revestimento de azulejos portugueses brancos e azuis que cobrem toda a sua fachada - um verdadeiro marco da influência luso-brasileira na cidade portuária. Os azulejos, além de uma função estética, tinham a função prática de proteger a edificação da maresia. Hoje, o espaço é tombado pelo patrimônio histórico e abriga eventos culturais, preservando sua importância histórica. 

Casa da Frontaria Azulejada, in Santos, built in 1865, stands out for the blue and white tile coating that goes through all the facade - a true mark of the portuguese-brasilian influence in the port city. The tiles, apart from the aesthetic function, have the practical function of protecting the building from the sea air. Nowadays, the building is listed as a historical landmark and hosts cultural events, preserving its historical importance.
