1. About the ceramic tiles
1.1-How are they manufactured?
Lurca tiles are hand-made painted through silk-screen process and burned afterwards, so that the ink penetrates its surface.
1.2-Can the tiles be used outdoors?
Yes, the tiles can be used in external areas.
1.3-Can the tiles be used in wet areas?
Yes, our tiles can be used in wet areas, such as shower and bath area.
1.4-Can the tiles be used on swimming pools?
We are not sure of which products are used in swimming pools so we don't recommend using our tiles.
1.5-Can the tiles be used as floors?
No, they are too thin to be used as floor tile, they are only recommended for walls.
1.6-Is it possible to buy single tiles?
No, our tiles are only sold in boxes with 42 pieces each (1 square meter).
1.7-Is it possible to change the tiles color or can I change the mix of tiles of a kit?
No, we only have the options available on our website.
Tiles may present a subtle color difference due to the fact that Lurca products are hand crafted and the manufacturing process might be affected by temperature and environmental conditions. Measurement and glaze colors are provided for indicative purpose only and subtle variations in color may occur.
2.Installation & Maintenance
2.1-Should I buy extra pieces?
It is usual to buy an extra amount of 10% of the needed pieces for future replacements or to substitute any tile affected during installation process.
2.2-How should I install my ceramic tiles?
Just as you would install regular tiles. We recommend the use of movement joints and the installation by a professional.
2.3-How should I clean my tiles?
Ceramic tiles are a low-maintenance product. We recommend the use of a wet towel or sponge. Avoid any acid products as it may damage the paint.
2.4-I have just installed my tiles and they look a bit darker, is that normal?
Because of the porosity on the back of each tile they get wet but after a while they dry and return to the usual color.

3.1-How can I pay ?
When you make a purchase through our website you will be directed to PayPal, a trusted secure server with encrypted technology.

3.2-Is my payment secure?
Yes, maximum security is ensured for all payments as the entire transaction is directed in encrypted mode towards the bank validation server in SSL mode (Secure Socker Layer).
4. Delivery Info & Packing
4.1-How is the shipping process?
We use UPS for international shipping. UPS is the world's largest package delivery company.

4.2-Where do you ship from?
All orders are processed and shipped from our studio in São Paulo, Brazil. If you're in town please feel free to stop by to check our products in person and have a cup of coffee! Check out the "Our Store" section of the site for a peek inside.
4.3-How are the ceramic tiles packed?
Tiles are packed in a tailor made box that fits safely exactly 42 pieces (1 square meter).
Please open the box(es) and check the product(s) at the time you receive them.
4.4.How can I track the status of my order?
You can check the status of your order by e-mailing email@example.com directly. We will respond to all emails as soon as possible.
5. Refunds & Returns
5.1-I am not satisfied with my order and would like to return it, how should I proceed?
We accept returns on up to 7 days after delivery.
Once the product has arrived and has been checked, your refund will be credited to the same credit card account in which the original purchase was made. We will process your return immediately, but please note that the time frame for the refund to be completed into your bank account may vary depending on your bank and/or credit card company.
Please note the shipment rates will not be refunded. Products that arrive back to our store damaged or incomplete will not be refunded.
5.2-Some pieces have arrived broken, how should I proceed?
We kindly ask you to proceed this way:
-Make a remark on the delivery note
-Send us a Picture of the broken pieces(s), and inform us the product name and quantity.
We will replace them as soon as possible with no shipping costs.
